It’s that time of year when vision board planning hits its peak. If you are making a vision board to represent your hopes, dreams, and goals for 2025, here’s some things to consider.
1. Your Current Life
Before you can start planning how to achieve your goals in the new year it’s important to look at your current lifestyle. Do a quick audit of your current habits so that you can accurately gauge how much work you will need to achieve your goal.
2. Your Values
Before you decide which goals you’ll pursue in the new year, check in with your values. This is important because your values should shape your goals. If you’re murky on your values, it can be hard to know which goals are important to you and which deserve your time.
3. Distinguish Between Short-Term and Long-Term Goals
For greater chances of actually achieving your vision board make sure that you distinguish between short-term and long-term goals. If your vision board is only long-term goals that are 10-15 years in the future it can be hard to know what steps to take now to achieve them. It will also be difficult to determine your progress. Have a variety of short and long-term goals on your vision board.
I hope you’ll consider these three things before making your 2025 vision board. Happy planning!
